This blog is an ever-growing compilation of my musings of a not-so-Bland life. I began blogging with regularity years ago, as I have always loved the creative written word. I majored in English, and I express my thoughts more adeptly by putting them to paper.

I am a married to Scott, and I am told what to do by Maggie (16) and Samuel (9).  

Most of my musings are about the ebb and flow of living with a son who has a rare chromosome duplication and autism. It is a tough life, but the life that I would still choose if given a line up.

Christ is my foundation, and without His guidance and sacrifice, I know that this earthly journey we traverse as a family would be far more difficult.

I love rain on my windows, diet coke on my lips, and a book in my hands.
